Dear Stuart:

After filling out your customer survey and eating the cookies, I thought it appropriate to say more. Robinson Heating & Air Conditioning has provided us with exceptional heating and air conditioning service for over 13 years. There are a melange of reasons why that service has been exceptional, but two stand out.

First, the company is a family business and the people who work for the firm do not leave. Of the people I know well (John, Rich, Les, Pete, and you), most have been there for as long as I can remember. Hence, 720 Elmwood is a known quantity, and I do not have to reintroduce myself and our equipment every time some new issue develops. Moreover, all the people I know who work for Robinson provide me with a straight, honest recommendation. I never have felt that Robinson was recommending something to enhance the company balance sheet.

Second, there's an ethos at Robinson that I haven't encountered elsewhere. Robinson educates the customer; and values an informed customer. The Robinson staff, has provided Cynthia and I with a good education in heating and air conditioning principles and issues over the years. Moreover, the Robinson staff involves me as a substantial participant rather than a passive consumer.
